WE ARE young people with different abilities, of different nationalities, with different cultures and unique styles, beliefs and values working together to make "different" the new "normal"!
We will work to influence others to see the beauty in diversity and
to celebrate and respect all differences.
We will fight to end bullying and to take the "DIS" out of disability!
OUR MISSION is to create opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be seen, heard and valued as members of the communities we live in, and to influence others to celebrate and respect all differences.
If you really think about it,
every person on Earth has a "disability",
but some people are labeled by theirs!
We have decided, as strong and capable members
of society, not be defined by our color, culture, gender, or "disability".
Instead, we will prove to the world how ABLED we are, lifting and inspiring others others on our way to the top!
We give presentations across San Francisco promoting diversity awareness and showing off what we CAN do, despite being labeled by a disability.
We've presented at some of the most iconic events and locations in our area!
The world knows that people with disabilities often NEED help…
but what people don’t always realize is that
WE CAN ALSO GIVE HELP to others!
Here are some of the ways we have helped those in need:
•Home-Made Food Donation to Homeless Shelter, SF
• Home-Made Christmas Donation to St. Mary's Homeless Shelter
We strive to maintain a strong online presence in an effort to motivate and inspire others on a regular and consistent basis!
Here is where you will find us online!
We would love for you to get involved with us, whether it's to become a member, to share ideas, share resources, or to have us at your school or event for a presentation!
